NFC menubordje NFC menu plate
Tik en bekijk het menu. De gast houdt de telefoon tegen het bordje op tafel en jullie menu (of bestelpagina) opent meteen. Geen app, geen QR-code. Tap to see the menu. Guests hold their phone to the plate on the table and your menu (or ordering page) opens straight away. No app, no QR code.

Alleen een link naar jullie menu: jullie eigen menulink, een foto van jullie huidige QR-code, of een menubestand dat al online staat. Ik zet die link op de chip. Just a link to your menu: your own menu link, a photo of your current QR code, or a menu file that's already online. I put that link on the chip.

Werkt het op elke telefoon? Does it work on every phone?
iPhone XS en nieuwer: gewoon tikken met het scherm aan. Android: NFC moet aanstaan (meestal standaard, anders via de snelinstellingen). Toestellen zonder NFC werken niet. Een app is niet nodig. iPhone XS and newer: just tap with the screen on. Android: NFC must be switched on (it usually is; otherwise use quick settings). Phones without NFC won't work. No app needed.
Hebben klanten een app nodig? Do customers need an app?
Nee. De telefoon opent jullie Google-reviewpagina in de browser of in de Google Maps-app. No. The phone opens your Google review page in the browser or the Google Maps app.
Is er een abonnement? Is there a subscription?
Nee. Het is een eenmalige aankoop. Geen maandelijkse kosten. No. It's a one-time purchase. No monthly fee.
Wat als onze link verandert? What if our link changes?
Dan zet ik de nieuwe link op hetzelfde bordje, met de update-service: €10 per bezoek, €5 per extra bordje. De eerste update binnen 6 maanden is gratis, als ik toch in de buurt ben of per post. Verandert alleen de inhoud van jullie pagina en blijft de link hetzelfde? Dan hoeft er niets te gebeuren. Then I put the new link on the same plate, with the update service: €10 per visit, €5 per extra plate. The first update within 6 months is free, when I'm in the area anyway or by post. If only the content of your page changes and the link stays the same, nothing needs to be done.
Kan iemand anders de chip aanpassen? Can someone else change the chip?
Nee. Elke chip is beveiligd met een wachtwoord, dus niemand kan de link overschrijven of laten verwijzen naar een andere pagina. Alleen ik kan de link wijzigen, via de update-service. No. Every chip is locked with a password, so nobody can overwrite the link or point it somewhere else. Only I can change the link, through the update service.

Ik kom langs, of ik stuur het bordje met de post naar het adres dat je doorgeeft. I come by, or I send the plate by post to the address you give me.
Hoe betaal ik? How do I pay?
Als ik langskom, het liefst contant. Gaat het bordje met de post, dan stuur ik een Tikkie. Een bankoverschrijving kan ook. Een Tikkie is het handigst. If I come by, cash is best. If the plate goes by post, I send a Tikkie. A bank transfer is fine too. A Tikkie is the easiest.
Staat onze naam op het bordje? Is our name printed on the plate?
Nee. Het ontwerp is voor elk bedrijf hetzelfde: blauw-wit, vijf sterren, het Google-logo en de tekst “We would appreciate your Google review!” Geen QR-code en geen maatwerk. Alleen de chip verwijst naar jullie pagina. No. The design is the same for every business: blue and white, five stars, the Google logo and the text “We would appreciate your Google review!” No QR code and no custom printing. Only the chip points to your page.
Heeft het bordje batterijen of stroom nodig? Does the plate need batteries or power?
Nee. De NFC-chip werkt zonder batterij en zonder opladen. Tikken gaat door de meeste telefoonhoesjes heen. Dikke, metalen of magnetische hoesjes, of pasjes in het hoesje, kunnen storen. No. The NFC chip needs no battery or charging. Tapping works through most phone cases. Thick, metal or magnetic cases, or cards in the case, can get in the way.
Mag ik klanten iets geven voor een review? Can I reward customers for a review?
Nee. Google verbiedt beloningen voor reviews, en ook het alleen vragen aan tevreden klanten. Zet het bordje gewoon neer voor iedereen. No. Google doesn't allow rewards for reviews, or asking only happy customers. Just put the plate out for everyone.

By post I send a Tikkie, or the details for a transfer. If you already have the review link, put it in the message.
